We could not be more excited to announce that our newest franchisees, Ricky and Brooke Lopez, have officially launched their Voda Cleaning & Restoration territory in Northwest Texas! Ricky and Brooke are ready to bring A New Level of Clean to their local community, with their expert cleaning and restoration services. Journey to Voda

Hailing from Alabama, Ricky brings over 13 years of experience in environmental work, while Brooke transitioned from teaching to become a stay-at-home mom to their two little ones (ages seven and two). They eventually moved to Texas to pursue a new job opportunity for Ricky, who was originally planning to climb the corporate ladder. Little did they know that there were bigger plans in store. 

Both Ricky and Brooke have always shared an entrepreneurial spirit, knowing that they wanted to own a business someday, but owning a franchise did not occur to them until more recently. Brooke believes their “… path to joining Voda was fully ordained by God.” Ricky met their franchise consultant, Chris Utah with FranSherpa, in an unexpected way, leading to discussions about potentially purchasing a franchise. Chris sent Ricky and Brooke a list of franchises to look into, as they prayed about their options. Ultimately, they felt that, “God was continually putting Voda on both of our hearts.” Ricky and Brooke then made their final decision to join Voda – a decision they felt very much at peace with.

Instantly intrigued by Voda, Ricky and Brooke loved the colors and branding at first glance, but after further research, they realized that our company values aligned with theirs, which was most important to them in choosing a franchise.

“We have a heart for people, and we are very customer oriented. Quality care and compassion are at the core of our family beliefs, and we believe Voda cares deeply for both their people and their customers. Not to mention, Chris spoke very highly of Voda, and we fully trust his opinion,” Brooke explains. 

The best part of becoming Voda franchisees, according to Brooke, “… has been the team, hands down.” They maintain, “If you’re the smartest person in the room, then you need to find a new room. We have the privilege of leaning on and learning from some of the brightest minds in the business and we feel very blessed to have them in our corner.” 

For future franchisees thinking about joining the Voda system, Ricky and Brooke advise to read every single book our CEO, Dan Claps, recommends, from authors Dan Martell to Alex Duta. Brooke describes that these books “… get you so excited for what’s to come and they help prepare you for your future! Reading is such a great way to grow your business skills and to gain knowledge and insight. Start now!” We couldn’t agree more!
